    Description
    Job Description
You'll be joining a thriving, vibrant, and energetic team comprising two permanent vets and a strong nursing team.

The practice provides an excellent range of facilities (including ultrasound), giving you access to all the equipment, space, and support you need to provide the very best care for your patients.

They ideally want you to be comfortable with a good mix of surgical time and consulting time.

You will need to be confident in establishing and running weight clinics, diabetes clinics, and assisting with overseeing their pharmacy and ordering processes.

Clinical coaching experience is desirable but not essential. A willingness to train as a coach is also desirable, and training will be funded. You will have a varied and engaging caseload and will provide passionate and dedicated care for our patients.

    The Role:

Your daily duties will include effective communication with clients, case handovers, and communication, liaising with all colleagues to facilitate gold standard patient care, prioritising and providing safe and effective patient care in a timely manner, supporting patients undergoing general anaesthesia and sedation, and facilitating diagnostic procedures, including radiography and ultrasound.

The nursing team is composed of skilled, passionate veterinary professionals, and as such, the practice ensures that they are able to achieve their clinical potential.

They have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up the nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to develop your own core client base, nurse-led clinics, and perform schedule 3 procedures.

Joining them will allow you to work within an exceptional clinical team and develop your career while continuing your learning.

They offer access to a multitude of professional development opportunities, or more in-depth programmes developed specifically for primary care nurses.

You will work 40 hours per week, one Saturday in four, weekday shifts to be agreed, with paid lunch breaks.

    Benefits include:

    • No out-of-hours duties
    • Paid holiday allowance

    • Life assurance
    • Contributory pension scheme
    • Relocation allowance (direct applicants only)
