    Description

    The Business Development Team Lead for Siteimprove is responsible for helping drive the results of a BDR team through recruiting, training, organizing, coordinating, measuring, coaching, problem-solving, and leading, in addition to holding their own individual contributor quota of opportunities personally created and pipeline sourced.

    This role works closely with sales, marketing, sales enablement, and operation teams to maximize pipeline creation and reports to the Sales Manager Business Development.

    Help lead a high-performance sales team by executing targeted pipeline goals and exceeding those goals in the emerging business
    Help recruit, interview, onboard, train, lead BDRs, and grow the team
    Monitor and refine lead processes, continue to help optimize SFDC, Outreach, and other tools to improve BDRs' productivity
    Identify target accounts and prospects to effectively pitch Siteimprove Marketing Performance Platform to set meetings with qualified prospects and clients
    Analyze data to identify trends and communicate appropriate to sales management
    Promote team's personal development and recommend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
    Provide recommendations and best practices for emerging online marketing opportunities and tactics that assist in achieving Siteimprove organizational goals
    Pursue personal development and attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
    Travel and attend meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and other company functions necessary to perform duties
    Provide support for EMEA and APJ region
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
    Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in business development, lead generation, outbound calling, or equivalent
    Software-as-a-Service vendor with inside and outside sales management
    ~ Demonstrated leadership experience with proven experience in hiring and building a highly motivated sales team
    ~ Proficient in sales reporting activities and forecasting in a CRM system
    ~ Experience with using Outreach or equivalent
    ~ Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage the performance of a sales team while supporting business needs
