For some this means education and training opportunities, for others it means reward structures; The Vendor Manager you will onboard & engage with Suppliers & Vendors to drive service excellence, control costs and mitigate risks to gain increased value from Suppliers & Vendors throughout the contract & product lifecycle.
Based at our Banbury Office the Vendor Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.The Vendor Manager will develop and sustain long-standing relationships with Suppliers & Vendors, negotiating pricing and contracts, communicating expectations and performance, and resolving any product or service-related concerns.
The Vendor Manager will coordinate with various cross-functional departments, maintain Supplier & Vendor records and databases, and build reports and surveys for tracking and auditing vendor programs.
We will provide extensive solution and industry training, and our existing team will always be available to help you settle in.
Being a partner to our internal customers - listening and understanding their needs and interpreting these into leading procurement activity, explaining and sharing supply agreements and performance expectations.
Being a procurement role model - demonstrating influence and commercial acumen, being a proactive contributor to the success of the business.
Draft supply contracts and negotiating terms that maximise value and limit risk, maintaining major contractual agreements and supporting our teams and business.
Providing contractual and commercial advice to the business on procurement & supplier management.Onboarding new Vendors by establishing & managing the project/engagement plan appropriate for the type of Vendor.
Working with the Commercial Team (inc. Sales Director, Finance Director, Legal etc.) SLA's, Targets, MDF, Funded Heads, Customer Success, commercial remedies, penalties, credits, etc. Familiarisation of Vendors with product priorities, setting standards for vendor performance & responsibilities (KPI's quality, return rate, etc).
Evaluation of Supplier & Vendor management methods and applying continuous improvement for delivery, quality, availability, etc.
Managing service agreements & RFP's ensuring compliance and invoking commercial remedies, penalties, credits, etc, where appropriate.
Monitoring & management of Supplier & Vendor Performance Reporting and material changes.
A understanding of our products and services and how these are used in networking and XR.
Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
Own your own performance in a fast paced environment.

Moderate understanding of IP Networking and products.
Advanced skills in Excel and/or Netsuite would be advantageous.
