The Commercial Solutions Design Engineer is the primary technical resource for the sales force. This is a brand new role, in a new team focusing on solutions within the commercial building sector.In your first few weeks in this Commercial Solutions Design Engineer role, you can expect to:
Represent the sales force professionally and handle a range of customer enquiries
Generate standardized and project bespoke heating schematics for Commercial Heating and Hot Water systems for specifiers, consultants and Design and Build Contractors
Provide system-detailed product lists to meet specific solutions, assisting the installer/contractor with legislative compliance in line with the department's SLAs
To apply for this Commercial Solutions Design Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
Ideally educated to HNC level in building services or higher.
Formal training and experience of Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD & Revit.
Proven project management experience and an ability to apply technical knowledge in a commercial context.
Experience with CRM Systems
A fundamental understanding of the 18 th Edition Installation and Wiring Regulations
You will have demonstrable experience in Mechanical and Electrical building services within commercial properties.
In-depth knowledge of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations, SBEM, Gas Safe & F-Gas
You will have a natural collaborative working style, nurturing both internal and external key relationships to drive high quality deliverables
Knowledge of district heating systems and building services experience advantageous.
