    Description

    We are recruiting fora Playground Inspection and Maintenance Engineer who will beresponsible for inspecting maintaining and repairing playgroundequipment. On offer is asalary of around 32000 whichis negotiable based on experience a company van20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and a pensionscheme.

    Asthe Playground Inspection and Maintenance Engineer you willbe:

    • InspectingPlaygrounds.
    • Completingsurvey reports and quality checks to assess what work is requiredto ensure accuratepricing.
    • Performingmaintenance and repairs to outdoor play equipment ramps MultiUseGames Areas (MUGAs) fitness equipment safety surfacing andassociated landscaping which could include digging out andreplacing rotten posts replacing above ground timbers bolt caps andother play equipment components as well as rubber mulch grass matsloose fill and wet pour surfacingetc.



    Requirements

    Tobe considered as the Playground Inspection and Maintenance Engineeryou willneed:

    • Tobe experienced at inspecting repairing and maintaining playgroundequipment.
    • Tohave a good knowledge of the related safety regulations andstandards.
    • Topossess good problem solvingskills.
    • Havethe ability to workindependently.
    • Behappy to cover a large geographicalarea.
    • Competentin operating handtools.

    Anyof the following would be an additionalbenefit:

    • Experiencerelated to MUGA s andramps.
    • Experienceof installing grass mats bonded rubber mulch loose fill andwetpour.
    • Tobe an RPII OperationsInspector.
