Full-time, 35 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced professional to work with the Vice-Principal Students and Deputy Secretary Students to support development of University strategy and policy to deliver an improved student experience across the University.


The Opportunity:


Working closely with the Vice-Principal Students and the Deputy Secretary Students to facilitate the development and delivery of strategy and policy relevant to the Vice-Principal Students portfolio of responsibility across the University.

The post holder will drive implementation of strategic initiatives; initiate and lead on a range of special projects; and forge and manage relationships across different parts of the University to ensure coordination and joined-up governance.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Strong track record of supporting/leading student experience strategy and policy in higher education
  • Ability to understand and proactively engage with a range of complex and interrelated projects
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to build effective relationships with senior colleagues
  • Track record of producing high quality, rigorous analysis and briefings on issues relevant to strategy and policy in HEI
  • Solutions focussed with a high level of motivation and initiative, alongside a collegiate and consultative approach
