Job Description Information Manager | to £50,000 | London | Fit Out & Interiors | PermanentA great opportunity for somebody in my network to join a business that understands the importance of Information Management and the central role it plays in projects.
The business in question is a specialist fit-out contractor with over 20 years of experience to their name.Working on large-scale commercial office fit-out projects (they are currently working on an absolute beauty on our doorstep), they have developed a superb reputation for their office design and build work, fit-out, workplace consultancy and structural refurbishment.
The role of Information Manager within this contractor is to actively assist in the delivery of projects, rigorously organising construction information to ensure an efficient and timely flow of information between project teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
The role is seen as the central point of contact for projects – "the glue that holds everything together" – requiring the post holder to operate in line with company protocols and use their EDMS of choice (Procore), ensuring all drawings, documentation and data are up to date, accessible and readily available.
The Information Manager will sit within the group team, working alongside 2 other Information Managers but assuming responsibility and ownership for specific projects.
