Would you like to be part of a new commercial project team in an established CRO who are developing mental health SaaS products for clinical trials within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors? This Project Manager role supports the Senior Leadershipteam and is a critical position responsible for the overall relationship management of client accounts and day to day project management to ensure that the Company can deliver quality software projects and services on time and within budget through effectivemanagement of resources.

The role is hybrid working, ideally with one day in the office per week for key meetings.

Key responsibilities of this role comprise:
Project Management

  • Management of one or more projects (typically lowmid complexity) with a focus on delivery of the scope on time, within budget and with a highquality outcome
  • Compile and maintain projectspecific plans tailored to each study to drive efficient implementation including project Gannt, detailed risk management plan with identification of timely mitigation strategies and communications plan
  • Monitor project scope, timelines and milestones, issues and risks for one or more projects
  • Monitor project financials, budget tracking and accuracy of invoicing
  • Track key problems / issues and work with the other team members to ensure timely resolution
  • Create and maintain accurate study documentation and reports
  • Management of thirdparty vendors and strategic partners in accordance with specific project requirements for one or more projects, including review of vendor contracts and scopes of work
Communications

  • Develop positive and constructive professional relationships
  • Lead Client meetings to manage client interactions and expectations in line with capabilities
  • Lead internal cross functional project meetings, capturing minutes and action items
  • Provide proactive communication with all project stakeholders
Mentorship

  • Contribute to the mentorship of Junior Project Manager(s) and/or Project Administrator(s) as the team grows
Finance

  • Maintain and update individual current and future project costing sheets to track timelines, monitor costs and invoices against budget plan vs estimate, calculation of project income recognition, and review and escalate associated resource management requirements
Commercial

  • Support the preparation of costing proposals and bid defence presentations to secure new business
  • Support communication with potential business clients in conjunction with maintenance of SalesForce database and/or internal trackers to capture and update commercial opportunities
Experience

  • Bachelor's (and/or higher) degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field
  • Experience as a junior Project Manager required with experience working with budgets and/or costing sheets desirable
  • Prior experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, medical device, academic life sciences, or Healthcare Saas sectors preferred

  • Concern for quality, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Selfmotivated and able to assume responsibility in a professional manner
  • Experience in using key programs including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (essential) and SAGE (desirable)
  • Proactive contribution to the Company by being a versatile and flexible team player
