    Job Title: Lead Pharmacist for EPMA Implementation

    Job Summary

    This role entails leading the implementation of EPMA across BHT, working closely with Pharmacy Technician support to integrate the system smoothly into the daily routines of healthcare staff. Our EPMA development is a key focus, requiring a skilled individual to spearhead this initiative within the Trust. This opportunity is perfect for someone experienced in EPMA looking to broaden their skills in a multisite Trust environment.     Main Duties of the Job

    • Lead the delivery of the selected EPMA system focusing on time, resources, and patient safety.
    • Provide Pharmacist support and counsel on pharmaceutical and medicines management matters.
    • Supervise the use of electronic dispensing and prescribing systems within Pharmacy and Trust settings.
    • Facilitate and guide teams through implementing EPMA-driven changes in practice.
    • Act as a practicing Pharmacist understanding the clinical pharmacy requirements for EPMA.
    • Support other senior pharmacists as needed.

    Person Specification

    Education, Qualifications & Training

    Essential

    • Registered Pharmacist: Member of GPhC
    • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent

    Desirable

    • Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society
    • RPS Faculty Stage II accreditation
    • Relevant IT formal study or qualification

    Experience

    Essential

    • Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy at Post Registration Pharmacist level
    • Delivery of pharmacy services across various specialties
    • Experience in clinical pharmacy service delivery at a specialized level
    • Significant Continuing Professional Development evidence
    • Project management and service audit experience
    • Experience in EPMA or Trustwide IT system development and implementation

    Desirable

    • Training other pharmacy staff and staff management experience
