Lead Planner - Bath, United Kingdom - Wessex Water
Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a core background in planning and additional experience in team management and project management, who can deliver an increasing programme of wastewater and clean water supply projects.
The range of projects will involve design and procurement through to construction, involving the monitoring of KPIs across the project portfolios.
What you'll do:
As a Lead Planner, you will have the freedom and responsibility to lead and coach a team of Planners.
You will work collaboratively with Delivery Managers, Design Consultants, and Construction and Support teams to assess the resource requirements necessary to deliver the next five-year investment programme.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will join a diverse and inclusive planning team, helping to deliver projects ranging in value from £1m to £100m.
What you'll need:
This role will allow you to combine your planning experience and people skills to support the Planning Manager in developing the team and overseeing the overall workload.
You will have a degree in a relevant discipline (such as engineering or construction management), but this is not essential and relevant experience would be beneficial.
You will have an in-depth working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project with experience prioritising multiple projects to ensure overall programme objectives are met.
As travelling will be part of the role, covering the Wessex Water region, you will be required to hold a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (expenses will be reimbursed).
