- Delivering Specialized Instruction: As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering specialized instruction that caters to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Creating Inclusive Learning Environments: You will work to create inclusive learning environments where all students feel supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with Support Staff: Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure that students with SEN receive the appropriate level of support both inside and outside the classroom.
- Monitoring Progress: Tracking and monitoring the progress of students with SEN, adjusting teaching strategies and interventions as necessary to support their ongoing development.
- Advocating for Students: Acting as an advocate for students with SEN, liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure that their individual needs are met.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialization or experience in working with students with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
