    About the job Hypersonic is a US and UK based remote start-up building HELIX, the ultimate open-world roleplaying sandbox game.

    As our Technical QA Director you will set in place and own processes and workflows to ensure our products hold to a high standard of quality.

    Your technical knowledge will be invaluable to test and evaluate our UGC creation tools. You will participate in the entire QA process while growing and coaching your team. Your Responsibilities Encourage QA discipline across the organization to hold our studio accountable to a high standard of quality. Engage with other leaders in the organization to help prioritize issues. Take part in the planning of roadmaps to make sure QA testing is taken into account when making estimations. Participate with team leaders to prepare our products for public and internal releases.

    Lead, coach and manage our QA team for deep technical testing of our UGC creation tools, API's, clients and other products.

    Participate in the QA process of technical developer tools. Work with engineers to refine our deployment and testing workflow. Work with engineers to set in place automatic QA workflows whenever possible. Provide reports to the studio leadership about the health and state of our products. We're Looking For 7+ years of experience working in video game QA. Experience working as a QA director. Experienced in hiring and managing QA teams that include partnerships with external contractors. Experience in developing and implementing QA processes and procedures. Experience working on games at all stages of development. Experience QA on a technical level, where developer tools are part of the product. Basic programming knowledge needed for testing developer tools. Basic UE5 engine knowledge required for testing creation tools. Experience working on a UGC platform is a big plus. Experience working in the AAA industry is a plus.
