Timber Frame Designer

Location - Kent

Salary - £25,000 to £35,000
Do you have experience of using AutoCAD?

Have you got a background in Timber/Construction based design?

We have a great opportunity in Canterbury for a Timber Frame Designer to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full time, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Follow different drawings (training will be provided)
Preparation of full design drawings for client approval
Completion of cutting lists, schedules and design drawings for manufacture and site construction
Provide technical assistance and direction to onsite erection teams and client queries
Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

Excellent numerical and communication skills
Good attention to detail
A dedicated, trustworthy, reliable and honest individual with a passion for timber engineering & construction
Good understanding of construction details
Excellent team working skills
Previous experience in timber frame software
Experience in AutoCAD
