Beingaccountable for financial control and for ensuring that the organisation meetsits statutory financial duties
Masters level education or equivalent senior leadership experience
Experience and successful track record at Board level in an NHS organisation, preferably within an NHS provider within an Acute and or Community setting.
Demonstrable success in leading and delivering change and performance with and through management and Clinical teams, by engaging them in the strategic direction and delivery plans, establishing clear work priorities with them, delegating effectively, ensuring a capability to deliver, monitoring performance and giving feedback.
Evidence of long term strategic plans which have an impact across the organisation and in placeExperience of leading place based integration working closely withGP Practices, primary care networks and GP led provider organisations.
Experience in, and understanding of working within a regulatory framework, and in collaboration with regulators.
Track record of successfully leading transformation and change at a senior level
Experience and track record of pro-actively managing performance
Demonstrable experience of using data to lead improvement
Experience of building high performing, cohesive teams, and inspiring others to achieve excellence.
Proven experience of effective demand and capacity planning to ensure the organisation is well placed to deliver quality outcomes for our patients and people
A record of successful workforce, financial and resource management, ensuring high performance and holding individuals to account
Experience of effectively managing large budgets, financial acumen and the ability to oversee the development and delivery of business cases to secure appropriate resources to support strategic and operational plans, supporting teams as required
Demonstrate leadership and ambassadorial skills with an ability to demonstrate a flexible leadership style
Frequent travel between multiple sites (and occasional travel further afield)
To be proactive and flexible, able to identify and take forward opportunities and work effectively in partnership with others
The political intelligence to be able to navigate a complex social and political landscape and remain focussed on the organisation's vision for the future
