    If so, EiB are offering an opportunity for you to join the UK's largest fully employed work winning consultancy.

    We are looking for talented bid writers, with drive, enthusiasm and the tenacity, to join our Senior Bid Writing team.

    As a Senior Bid Writer, you will help shape and drive client solutions and bids:

    ·Sharing best practice, from across all sectors

    ·Accelerating innovation

    ·Challenging delivery norms and

    ·Ensuring the success of our clients.

    You will work within a dynamic company across a range of sectors with diverse teams to secure exciting and iconic projects for our clients in sectors including:

    · Highways

    · Rail, including high-speed rail

    · Utilities

    · Local government

    · Health

    . Renewables

    . Energy

    . Defence

    . Nuclear

    Location: EiB's Bid Hubs are in central Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin. We offer a flexible working model aligned to our clients' needs and expectations, combining office and home working and on-site support at client locations throughout the UK and Europe.

    The Opportunity

    Our in-house team of over 30 work winning professionals, led by our bid directors, fully integrate with our client teams to provide bespoke solutions and support.

    The role will involve:

    . Challenging strategic work winning norms to transform the success of our clients

    . Working closely with EiB sector and solution leads to ensure you maintain an awareness of what matters most to the sectors and clients we serve

    . Supporting early engagement with our clients to build effective capture and develop strong and convincing value propositions which prepare you and our teams ahead of each opportunity

    . Working closely with our strategic bid directors and bid managers to ensure our clients and their subject matter experts understand why each commissioning client has asked the specific question in the way they have; and challenge the developing solution

    . Building captivating and compelling content for each response, within each unique client, by taking a bottom-up approach to developing original content absolutely aligned with the commissioning clients' scope/works information

    . Constructively challenging our client's developing solution to strengthen the bid

    . Participating in all appropriate progress meetings from the launch and bid kick-off through regular progress meetings to the successful completion and close out to each client's satisfaction

    . Coaching and developing our wider team of bid writers

    . Supporting Business Development by identifying future opportunities

    . Committing to your ongoing professional development to stay at the leading edge of strategic work winning support.

    In return we offer a competitive remuneration package:

    . With a salary of up to £60,000 based on values, skills, and experience

    . Participation in the Group's annual performance bonus scheme based on company and personal performance

    . Group retirement savings scheme (5% contribution from yourself, and 3% contribution by EiB Group Ltd)

    . Enrolment in our Life Assurance scheme, providing a payment of x3 salary in the event of death in service, at no cost and with no medical underwriting required

    . 25 days holiday per annum plus statutory holidays, rising to 30 Days based on length of service

    About you

    You will share our values and commitment to transforming the performance of our clients. As a strong team player, you will recognise and embrace the benefits of working collaboratively, with colleagues, to help shape the future direction of the business.

    Ideally you will be degree educated and have professional qualifications or equivalent in a relevant discipline and professional membership in APMP or similar. You will have direct experience in a senior writing capacity in either:

    . A professional services/consultancy environment; or

    . In a Tier 1/2 major construction, contracting or maintenance environment.

    You will have supported your company and/or clients to develop technical responses and be adept at building responses that both 'nail the question' and more specifically address the relevant elements of the commissioning clients' scope, works information and evaluation criteria. You will be confident and assertive and have a passion to capture information and detail from the most protective of technical specialists. You will have a track record of building strong and lasting relationships with internal customers and/or external clients and providing support to strong, motivated teams.
