    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural CAD Technician to join our team. As an Architectural CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and precise CAD drawings and designs for architectural projects. This position requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, proficiency in CAD software, and excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities
    • Create detailed and accurate architectural CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, based on provided design concepts and specifications.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to understand design requirements and project objectives.
    • Utilise CAD software (Autodesk Inventor) proficiently to develop and modify architectural drawings.
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all CAD designs.
    • Review and check architectural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
    • Coordinate with project team members to ensure seamless integration and coordination of architectural designs with other disciplines.
    • Assist in resolving design issues or coordination conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving.
    • Stay updated on the latest CAD software advancements and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an Architectural CAD Technician.
    • Must possess excellent 3D CAD modeling skills – using Autodesk Inventor.
    • Proficiency in reading construction/manufacturing drawings.
    • Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing CAD drawings.
    • Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into detailed construction documents.
    • Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work as part of a project team.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • A basic understanding of construction methods and materials is preferred.
