    Description

    This is an exciting opportunity within a modern and well equipped practice for a resident optometrist.

    Optometrist Position

    • This is a permanent, Full time residency within a well established practice within Godalming.
    • This store has a very long standing and loyal local customer base and a very good reputation.
    • This has been built up through the years and reflects this practices commitment to offering the highest levels of patient care.
    • Due to somebody moving on a position has become available and my client would like somebody to start ASAP.

    Responsibilities of the Optometrist

    • Your role will primarily be a clinical position. You will be conducting a comprehensive sight test and completed contact lens clinics.
    • You will be carrying out tests within a very modern and well equipped practice ensuring that the quality of service and patient care is of the upmost importance.
    • You will be well supported within the position by a long standing dispensing team and a highly experienced store director.

    Requirements of the Optometrist

    • To apply for this position you must be a fully qualified, GOC registered Optometrist.
    • You will be able to work full time hours including Saturdays.
    • You will be a hard working and professional person who is able to get on with your team mates and build a comfortable working environment.
    • You must have strong communication skills and you will be passionate about customer service.

    Compensation for the Optometrist

    • On offer for your efforts is a competitive salary of £60,000 – £65,000
    • Practice and Professional bonus working up to £350 per month
    • 34 days holiday including a day off for your birthday
    • working with all the latest equipment including Phoropters, Fields machines and OCTs
    • Team building days including Christmas and Summer parties including days out to Top Golf
    • working social hours being 09:00am – 17:30pm Mon – Fri and 09:00am – 17:00pm Sat
