Warehouse Team Leader

Our client is fast growing business with an excellent reputation they are looking for a Warehouse Team leader to join their team.

Based in Castleford this is a varied role with a focus on warehouse operations and administration, as Warehouse Team leader you will support the Warehouse Manager in planning and achieving the warehouse activities.

Salary £26,000 p/a. Hours between 6:00 am - 22:00 pm
(mainly days) Monday - Friday (Occasional Weekends)

Responsibilities include:

Manage the team to ensure that Work Instructions & SOPs are followed consistently and that performance targets are achieved or exceeded
Direct activities to ensure a safe, healthy, and clean and fair environment for all Team Members
Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels within the shift to maintain productivity levels moving Team Members between activities where required.
Plan and deliver Team Members performance reviews, ongoing development, and discussions about succession where appropriate.
Ensure the shift consistently meets the customers' expectations in relation to service and quality
Ensure that the Company's health and safety policies and obligations are adhered to and that the operation always meets all legislative requirements.
