    Senior Pricing Actuary - Property & Construction
    Aptuary is an Actuarial recruitment agency established by a qualified Actuary.

    The Actuarial background enables the company to establish credibility with candidates, gaining a thorough understanding of their experience and skill set, allowing to better filter and present the most suitable candidates.

    Aptuary is led by Shivam Patel, who has over 13 years experience in the Insurance industry, starting his career at a Big 4 consultancy and then continuing as an Actuarial contractor at large insurance companies.

    The top priority at Aptuary is to deliver a personalised service, by listening attentively to the client brief and delivering with a key focus on quality of candidates.

    Aptuary isworking with a Managing Agency, who are looking for a senior non-life Pricingactuary to join their London team.

    Delivery offirst-class statistical analysis for property and construction classes;individual risks analysis, new portfolio/facility appraisal, ratingmodel development and analysis of parameters,
    Outwardsreinsurance analysis.
    Bespokeportfolio segmentation and insights using the Syndicate data warehouse andother data sources. This may include non-actuarial information such asconversion rates, broker penetration, etc.
    Demonstratingbehaviours that contribute to a culture of inclusion, openness and fairness,operating to high ethical standards.
    Analysis ofmarket statistics and benchmarks in relation to short tail lines.
    5yrs+ industryexperience in relevant markets (Lloyd's) and lines of business (preferablyproperty and CAR).
