Interim HR Advisor

Leeds (hybrid)

Circa £35,000 - £40,000

3-month contract (permanent position available)


I'm working with a professional services business with offices in Leeds who are recruiting a HR Advisor to provide expert professional advice and support to line managers and staff on all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations and people management.


Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing HR specialist knowledge to managers and their teams to enable the business to achieve its objectives in line with business strategy, values, policies and procedures.

The HR advisor will also be responsible for creating the right environment and culture to attract and retain the best talent.


Responsibilities:


  • Absence management liaise with managers to close absences, approve pending holiday requests etc.
  • HR Administration general inbox queries, ensuring benefits are set up for new starters.
  • Pay & Bonus collating spreadsheets, preparing letters etc.
  • Other leaver administration, arranging exit interviews, wellbeing support.

Requirements:


  • CIPD Level 5 qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience of working across a broad range of HR operations is essential.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range of people including senior leaders, managers and staff.
  • A strong team player who actively helps and supports others.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and manage own workload.


This role is based in Leeds and is fully office-based, 3 month contract (possibility of going permanent) and offering circa £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata.

£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

  • Human resources: 2 years (required)
