- Performing dismantlement of a wide range of mechanical equipment, including but not limited to pumps, motors, gearboxes, and screens. This involves conducting thorough inspections and measurements to ascertain repair methodologies.
- Engaging in fault diagnosis within mechanical equipment, supported by the provision of specialist equipment from our client.
- Executing repairs and refurbishments of mechanical equipment under the Operations Manager's direction.
- Operating within diverse environments such as Water Utility, Power Industry, and Government sites as part of a proficient mechanical & electrical team. Tasks may include working at heights, in confined spaces, and within both sewerage and potable water contexts.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally backed by a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship. Previous experience in Water Utilities or the Power Industry will be highly regarded.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge or experience in onsite health and safety regulations. Candidates with training in confined spaces and water hygiene will stand out, though training can be provided.
- The ability to operate autonomously and exhibit excellent team communication skills.
