    Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

    Salary £50,000

    Shift 4 on 4 off (D&N)

    Location - Stevenage

    Synergi are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food and FMCG company based in Stevenage. This is your chance to join a company that has invested invested heavily in cutting edge manufacturing capabilities, the latest technology, and their people.

    If successful, you would report to the Engineering Manager alongside a team of Maintenance Engineers.

    Your duties:

    • Provide full technical engineering support to production function & machinery - reactive breakdown repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment, installation, continuous improvements, modifications/upgrades
    • Improve plant availability and efficiency
    • Reduce life cycle costs and downtime
    • Complete written reports on maintenance work carried out and identify future maintenance work
    • Have an active role in team briefings and communication meetings
    • Help with organisation of stores, always ensuring sufficient stocks of parts, and submitting any orders to the Engineering Manager

    Your skills:

    • Minimum 3 years experience in Manufacturing/Production/FMCG/Food/Distribution in engineering capacity
    • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Engineering
    • PLC fault finding experience
    • Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, values, hydraulics
    • Basic knowledge of Food Hygiene & Safety standards
    • Must be multi-skilled - you will be using both your Electrical and Mechanical skills
