We are seeking an accomplished Industrial Regional Sales Manager to oversee business development and customer relationships within the designated territory.
In this role, you will be responsible for fostering enduring connections with key clients, achieving annual bookings targets, and spearheading the growth of our industrial business segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize potential industrial clients within the territory, outlining tailored sales plans and objectives for top accounts.
Regularly engage with top clients to expand business across all market segments, nurturing long-term relationships and addressing customer needs promptly.
Proactively pursue new opportunities, ensuring thorough understanding of client requirements and effective resolution of any issues.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive customer solutions and support.
Facilitate the enrolment of Official Distributors in the region, offering guidance and assistance in setting targets and fostering growth.
Coordinate with Inside Sales to capitalize on new pump opportunities, delivering quotes and following up with clients and distributors.
Conduct negotiations to finalize orders, ensuring alignment with technical, commercial, and legal requirements.
Maintain consistent communication with management, providing valuable insights on market trends, competitor activities, and potential business avenues.
Contribute to promotional initiatives such as exhibitions and mailings to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales roles within the pump industry, with a preference for experience in general industry markets.
Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time, to engage with clients and distributors.Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
Familiarity with top potential customers and local competitors, along with their product offerings.
Physical ability to meet job requirements, including prolonged sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and mobility for various activities.
