Description

You will be part of a growing team developing products for the insurance industry, working with insurance companies, suppliers, police forces and all supporting industries - both within the UK and Worldwide.

We are currently driving cutting-edge technical change making use of the latest cloud technologies, serverless and micro services architecture to meet our client and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform handson coding and designing of solutions that meet our business goals.
Raise issues during sprint development cycle
Contribute to continuous improvement through retrospectives
Work with Product Managers to collect and document user requirements, development of user stories/tasks, producing estimates for each change.
Assist with providing thirdlevel support when appropriate.
Write design technical documents, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Accurate time tracking

Qualifications Essential Requirements:

Commercial experience of serverside Java 811 OR C# /.Net Core (likely to be gained from at least 2 years of professional experience), certification would be beneficial
SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL preferred)
Knowledge of Automation toolsets
Industry standard API integrations (JSON, Restful etc. SOAP experience a plus)
Source Control such as Git
A love of technology and desire to continuously develop and improve

Highly Desirable:
- / HTML5 / CSS / jQuery / Bootstrap

Spring, Hibernate (If Java)
Scrum/Agile Methodology
Knowledge of design patterns
Experience of the Insurance industry (especially Motor Claims) would be beneficial
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Knowledge of serverless architecture (E.g., Lambda's)
Knowledge of Low Code / No Code solutions (E.g., Decisions)
Experience of Test-Driven Development
Experience of CI/CD pipelines
Message Bus technologies
Xamarin
Android / iOS Native
Clean Code principles
Additional Languages (French, German, Others)
