Our Client has a requirement for aQuality Assurance Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Cumbria.

Role Purpose & Job Role Responsibilities:

•Production, review and endorse as appropriate Quality Plans andInspection and Test Plans; undertaking associated compliance verification activities as appropriate.

•Liaise with Quality Control and ICG where required to ensureverification of processes and relevant documentation ITP's, weld procedures etc.

•Ensure the quality standards of the TDA Project are consistently met,raising the authorised project documentation where this is not the case.

•Review and update IMS as required.

•Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issuesand liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.

•Support Internal and External Audits - track actions arising, so thatsystems can be improved and so that non-compliances are reduced.

•Advise project purchasing staff on the competence of vendors, sothat QA matters may be taken into account when selecting vendors.

•Initiate Quality Grade Risk Assessment Meetings

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

Quality Assurance Understanding (ISO 9001:2015, ContractorQuality Requirements SLM

Preferred:

•Professional Body Membership CQI

•Relevant extensive Quality Assurance experience

Candidate must be eligible for SC clearance
