Assisting with & coordinating operational risk assessments for all site's operations.Writing up reports, safety bulletins, and newsletters.
Attend the company Health and Safety committees & produce minutes as required.
Keeping up to date with, and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and good industry practice as part of their continuous professional development.
Contribute to a positive Health and Safety culture by positively influencing behaviour in others to achieve desired outcomes.To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Health and Safety Department.
NEBOSH / Tech ISOH will be ideal
Knowledge off Scaffolding will be ideal
knowledge of the Construction industry, moreover an understanding of scaffolding Temporary works and the risks involved with working at height.
An understanding of the moral, ethical, and financial importance of an effective Health, Safety and Environmental management system.Valid & Clean driving licence - will need to travel to projects/meetings.
A good knowledge of MS Office applications and able to adapt to new bespoke systems when presented.
Must possess a proactive, positive attitude towards improving Health and Safety standards and developing a positive culture.
Comprehensive in-house and external training and mentoring will be provided to further skills and develop talent, along with support for progression in health & Safety should this be of interest
