    ABOUT TRACK RECORD GLOBALnTrack Record Global (TRG) are experts in natural material supply chain assessments, verifying that the legislation in place to protect consumers and the environment is adhered to as well as ensuring that the environmental claims made by our clients are traceable.


    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORnWe are seeking a talented Process Systems Developer with experience in Java, Spring Boot and Workflow for a 3 month contract, with potential to extend to 6 months.

    As a member of our Technology Development team you will be responsible for designing and developing improvements to our back office automation and loading systems, expanding our use of Flowable BPMN and delivering improvements to our loading and reporting infrastructure, you may also be asked to develop front end tools supporting administration of workflow services.


    We have an established team of experienced engineers who have designed and built the platform but need additional capacity to manage the growing development pipeline of improvements that both our clients and colleagues are requesting.


    ABOUT THE ROLEnThe main responsibilities include:


    DevelopmentnWrite clean, maintainable, efficient, well documented and testable codenDesign, Develop and improve our Spring Boot application architecturenExpand our use of Flowable BPMN to provide end-to-end automation of established data loading and management processesnOptimise system performance: identify and fix performance by optimising database queries, improving deployment and maintenance architecture e.g.

    through the containerisation of existing servicesnProvide tools, possibly web based tools for end user to review the progress and outcome of data loading events

    TeamnManage relationships with internal and external teams to ensure service quality remains highnCollaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure a high-quality user experiencenParticipate in code reviews and mentor other developersnParticipate in Agile planning sprints to support the prioritisation and management of the teams capacity


    ABOUT YOUnWe are looking for someone who is capable of a high level of independent working, uses their own initiative and is decisive.

    We also want this person to be able to create and work in a collaborative environment.

    Experience in working with remote teams is vital. Must also be fluent in written and verbal English.
