We are welcoming applications for the post of a Non-Teaching Head of Year at King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy, an academy recently graded as 'Good' by Ofsted in all four areas in January 2024.
The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious about the pupils in their care and will be dedicated in building positive professional relationships within our community, our stakeholders and beyond.
As a key member of our dedicated and caring team, they will join a strong and focussed pastoral team in which pupils always come first.
They will be collaborative in working with them to ensure our young people receive the support they deserve in helping them to be nurtured and developed ready for life post-education.
Most importantly, you will be joining a small, kind and powerful community of Senior Leadership, Teaching and Support staff where "staff feel valued and appreciate how their workload and wellbeing are considered by leaders at all levels" as recently noted in our Ofsted Inspection Report.
