    About The Role

    Do you enjoy a challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Piping Designer to work within our Piping department. You will be working within both new and existing projects, creating bespoke, safe and cost-effective engineering solutions for our clients within the energy sector.

    If you are a passionate Senior Piping Designer , have some industry experience, or are eager to learn and grow within a highly skilled and diverse team, then we would love to hear from you.

    As a Senior Piping Designer with PD&MS Group, your responsibilities would include:

    • Ensure designs meet project requirements
    • Input to project plans
    • Identify areas of concern during any project or study
    • Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
    • Address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
    • Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore

    Our ideal candidate will:

    • Enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs.
    • Have a HND or similar in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design and design checking with an understanding of other disciplines.
    • Have experience 3D modelling of piping, supports and equipment using AutoCAd Plant 3D.
    • Be experienced drafting Isometrics and pipe supports using AutoCAD 2D.
    • Experienced in cloud scan data management such as ReCap pro.
