- These require understanding and then integration of new technologies into existing or new vehicles.
- Solid and surface creation, manipulation and assembly
- Working in collaboration with build suppliers to create accurate physical models in challenging timescales
- Accurate hard model modifications
- Prototype mechanism design and build
- Experience in product design in at least one functional area, essential
- Experience of CATIA V6 for detail or packaging design and geometric integration essential.
- Well rounded knowledge of vehicle types, systems and sub systems
- Hands on ability, assembly and dis-assembly, making models
- Experience of negotiating solutions in an area of technical conflict
- Ability to tell a data / CAD driven Engineering story that efficiently highlights status / work to do / help required.
- Driving License
- Working in collaboration with build suppliers to create accurate physical models from Ureols, RP parts in challenging timescales.
