- Develop and implement strategic transport plans that align with the company's objectives and client needs
- Lead and manage complex transport engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of transport engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transportation projects, ensuring a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
- Proficient in transport planning and modelling software, traffic engineering, and sustainable transportation practices.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams, external consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure holistic project success.
- Take responsibility for project budgets, including financial planning, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and future strategies for the transport engineering department
