    Workshop Controller Required in the Epsom, Surrey Area
    Hours: 45 hours per week Monday – Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota paid as overtime

    We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership who have been operating in the local area for 40 years representing their manufacturer.

    Our client has won various Automotive industry awards such as Retailer of the Year as well as countless manufacturer specific awards.

    Our client operates on three core pillars of Trust, Care and Quality which is what they promote from Drivers, Valetor all the way up to Managers and Directors.

    They are seeking an Experienced Automotive Workshop Controller who has at least 2 years' experience within a Main Dealership, or similar environment, to join and support the work of their Senior Management Team.

    This is a crucial Workshop Controller role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other dealership in their local area.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Workshop Controller to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day.

    Within this Workshop Controller role your typical duties will include:

    To calculate and manage the effective use of workshop resources.
    Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
    Identify individual training and development needs.
    Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
    Manage workshop standards in accordance with company requirements.
    Ensure that the department helps to promote services offered by other departments within the dealership.

    You will be required in some instances to cover other departments due to absence or workload so must be prepared and able to adapt and diversify in accordance with the office/workplace dynamic.

    We would love to hear from experiencedWorkshop Controllers, be that those more junior to the trade or those who have started their progression journey to Senior Management.
