is seeking an ambitious & creative Marketing Assistant to join a luxury online-fashion retailer based in York.

Under the direction of the Brand & Campaign Manager, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible forthe oversight of online and offline campaigns, such as its website, app, and print material as well as a variety of additional marketing projects.


This will be an ideal opportunity for a recent university graduate with a marketing-related degree who also has a good foundation of experience from relevant industry internships or even a year or two's working experience.

There will be plenty of training,development and guidance in this post and you will develop into a well-rounded Brand and campaign marketing specialist.


As a Marketing Assistant, you will:

  • Manage campaign assets, briefing and launch to meet promotional, campaign and content calendars
  • Designing and supervising content such as press releases, artwork, print and digital media
  • Develop original content for all social media channels whilst maintaining the brand's tone of voice
  • Copywriting, editing, proofreading and supporting the content for The Journal
  • Brief production of marketing materials to the creative team
  • Support the production of photo shoots and photography assets
  • To aid in developing the brand's online presence and assist in all matters relating to the international websites including but not limited to updating information, images, price updates and product copy and content
  • To source, create and maintain relationships with influencers in line with the marketing and ecommerce strategy

Requirements:


  • Highly computer literate and ideally familiar with content management systems
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comprehensive organisation and planning, with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team player mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well across departments
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • Experience within an ecommerce setting preferred
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • BA degree in a related discipline (not essential but preferred)


A fantastic role for a marketing graduate with a year or two experience to really forward their career in a well-rounded marketing role This position is based in York and commutable from surrounding areas including Harrogate, Leeds, Selby, Huddersfieldand more.
