    Teaching Personnel is proud to be supporting a SEN School in Bournemouth, Dorset with their search for dedicated staff. The School is a Specialist Provision for Autistic young people with SEMH needs.

    The Role:


    The school is seeking to appoint an inspirational and high-quality Class Teacher (preferably KS4) and Vocational Curriculum Lead who is looking for a rewarding role focused on improving the outcomes and attainment of vulnerable learners.

    Experience teaching Maths and/or Design Technology would be an advantage but not essential.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead the learning of a class-team (pupils and staff).
    Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with additional needs, including SEMH and ASC.
    Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and learning.
    Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
    Utilise excellent interpersonal communication skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    Commit to ongoing professional development and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    Proven experience of teaching, preferably at KS4.
    Experience teaching Maths and/or Design Technology is advantageous.
    Understanding and experience of working with young people with additional needs, including childhood trauma, SEMH, and ASC.
    Strong track record of improving outcomes for young people.
    Creative and passionate about teaching, with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for vulnerable learners.
