Escape is working with an FMCG manufacturer who is looking to appoint a Trainee Supply Chain Planner to join their busy team.
The Supply Chain Teams role is to makes sure that production has what it needs and when it needs it.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Analyse customer sales orders Vs forecast
Produce and maintain the production plans
Produce the material plan and place orders for raw materials and imported produce
Work closely with production to support labour planning
Build strong relationships with Suppliers and Customers
Update and maintain the ERP systems
Produce reports and attend production meetingsIf you have experience working in production, supply chain, logistics or are a Supply Chain graduate then this could be a great opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturer and gain some great experience.
Experience and knowledge for the role:
Advanced Excel Skills
Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
Strong attention to detail skills
Time management skills
Excellent people skills and can build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentOur client site is open 24/7, so the requirement is to work 5 days over 7 with variable start times.
