My Client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly Finance team. This is a varied and interesting role.Responsibilities will include:
- Purchase Ledger; processing invoices for approval.
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Weekly takings receipt reconciliations
- Monthly supplier BACS payment runs
- Processing monthly direct debits for sales ledger
- Raising quarterly term fees and processing subsequent receipts
- Raise monthly sales invoices for recharges and intercompany reconciliations
- Monthly credit card statement processing and reconciliations
- Working with Excel spreadsheets
- Dealing with accounts enquiries internally and with suppliers
- Managing and reconciling the petty cash
- Prepare monthly payrolls on SAGE payroll software for review
- Assistance with monthly management accounts including prepayments and accruals
Key skills required:
- Experience working within a similar role
- AAT qualified or progression towards final level AAT
- Team player
- Enthusiastic
- Good working knowledge of excel
