    Description
    My Client is looking for a detail oriented and experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their friendly team. As an integral part of the finance department, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts admin, excellent analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

    The department processes a high volume of work and ideal applicants will be flexible, self-motivated, have a sound knowledge of Excel and be able to multitask and prioritise effectively.

    You must be a committed team player who can focus on the task of achieving the common goals of the team. You will have a high level of self-confidence and not be afraid to express your views in a team forum. You will possess a positive attitude to your work, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a good telephone manner.

    The role
    • Maintain day to day financial transactions and ensure timely recording of entries.
    • Working closely with the Financial Controller to prepare management accounts.
    • Calculating and posting monthly accruals and prepayments
    • Purchase invoice processing and preparation of payment runs.
    • Payroll processing
    • Intercompany recharges and reconciliations
    • Bank reconciliations.
    • Control Account reconciliation.
    • Maintaining Ledger accounts, verifying and posting transaction
      Your Skills & Qualifications:

      This role would suit an experienced Assistant Accountant with sound knowledge of finance and the desire to get involved with the workings of the business.

      Key requirements are:
      • First Rate numerical skills
      • AAT or degree qualified with strong bookkeeping skill and previous experience in a similar role for 2+ years.
      • Sound organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
      • Good IT skills
      • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
      • Good team player
