- Meeting with internal stakeholders to discuss website design, function and requirements
- Designing and building the website front-end, including the implementation of themes and plugins
- Creating and maintaining the website architecture and security infrastructure
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
- Conducting website performance tests; optimising loading speeds, fixing issues, and updating relevant website content
- Proactively manage search engine optimisation (SEO) and work with the global Marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed when creating new content for the website
- Troubleshooting content and technical issues
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the live website; website traffic, dwell times, conversion rates
- Keep the wider team up to date with website best practice.
- At least 3 years' experience in Wordpress development
- Good understanding of website architecture, security, and aesthetics
- Experience in the following languages/frameworks:
- PHP 8 - with an appreciation of both functional and object-orientated methods of programming
- HTML/CSS
- Sass
- Familiarity with Github
