    Workshop Technician
    Supply Chain - Logistics
    Salary basic - £35, % shift allowance
    Holidays flex + 8 Bank Hols
    Shift pattern - 6am to 2pm Mon to Fri
    1pm to 9pm Mon to Fri
    We have a fantastic opportunity in our Client Logistics team for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy team.

    The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide equipment and vehicle support to the logistics fleet operation in the form of day-to-day maintenance and inspection.

    You will ensure full utilisation of the vehicle fleet and keep the equipment in the hands of the user, providing support to the Logistics Operation.

    A Day in the Life of a Workshop Technician

    As a Clients team, provide a transport solution to support the needs of their customers, factories, copackers and some of our suppliers across company.

    Attend the weekly workshop meeting with active participation


    • Keep the MOT pass rate at above 90%
    • Carrying out all maintenance and Inspection on a fleet of trailers, tankers and vehicles in line with DVSA and Ministry of Transport regulations and working to the guide to maintaining roadworthiness.
    • Management and delivery of small projects
    • Maintaining all Health and Safety standards as laid down in the Companies H&S policy.
    NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification


    • Full LGV / HGV licence id desirable but not essential.
    • Driver CPC is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
    • Experience within an HGV Technician role
    • Experience within a HGV workshop environment
    • Working knowledge of a workshop environment and practices
