- Accounting qualification, ideally Chartered (ACCA)
- Proven experience of working in corporate services
- Previous experience of using Sage Line 50 accounts
- Ability to horizon scan to identify opportunities and risks
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience of staff management within an organisation
- Experience of day-to-day management of the finance function
- Experience of managing the IT function within an organisation
- Experience of preparing budgets and quarterly management accounts, including variance analyses and reforecasting
- Experience of preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Experience of month end, quarter end and year end finances
- Demonstrable skills in business administration and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of office management and ability to establish, oversee and develop the organisation's infrastructure
- IT skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and financial packages
- Flexible approach
- Understanding of membership organisations
- Experience of working with Boards and Committees
- Experience of working in the third sector

The ALLIANCE has an opportunity to join our Corporate Services team as a Finance and Corporate Services Manager, with management responsibility for finance, HR, office management, facilities and IT.
You will provide high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support; manage financial matters and help with budgets and financial projections; help develop policies, rules and guidelines for the whole organisation; offer advice and support to senior management; prepare reports and submissions about the ALLIANCE's resources and operations and help with staff management.
