    Description
    Leading independent force with multiple sectors spreading from pensions to analytics are looking for an infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team

    This candidate will build, support and continuously improve performance, scalable, resilient and efficient infrastructure, both physical and cloud-based, that underpins internal and client facing solutions.

    Some of the key points we are looking for in this role is strong experience with Terraform and Azure, if someone has experience in Palo Alto that is an added bonus.

    Design and implement standardised templates and configuration baselines
    ~Relevant infrastructure technologies and solutions, including compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, COTS and open-source solutions and virtual and cloud computing, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
    ~Automation of manual or repetitive tasks to enhance end-to-end infrastructure health and performance
    ~First-hand experience and knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies, emerging standards and trends, such as Azure hosted services and Office 365,
    ~Experience of managing infrastructure within a DevOps organisation – including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation and enterprise monitoring and reporting tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Zabbix, and Azure Monitor
    ~Demonstrable first-hand experience of managing IP based networks
    ~10-15% bonuses, great pension, medical cover, insurance, plus numerous soft leisurely benefits. The team works on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a week on-site in their Southampton office.
