About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a
Technical Administrator to join our
Living Places business unit to work in the Street Lighting department based in Coventry.
What you'll be doing
As a Technical Administrator, your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Take ownership of monitoring and updating management information systems.
- Take ownership of monitoring and updating mobile digital systems devices.
- Manage reactive fault time frames.
- Assist the Operations team in taking, inputting and monitoring reactive faults.
- Assist with contractual reporting.
- Support systems manager with Digital implementations and problem solving.
- Take ownership of monitoring and updating central management system.
- MIS data investigation/resolutions.
- Manage dig packs and permits where works required on contract.
- Assist contract team in administrating any small 3rd party quotes.
- Assist in the delivery of the contract social value strategy.
- Record activities and update the social value portal.
- Monitor and record Tool box talks and Zero Harm events.
- Represent the contract at Communications forum.
- Assist in the implementation and close out of "My Contribution" ideas.
Who we're looking for

- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes;
- Strong knowledge of business systems and mobile digital devices;
- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritise tasks;
- Able to work on own initiative;
- Must be a good team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Understands the basic Company Protocols;
- Uncompromising approach to the implementation of H&S;
- Fosters a culture of Right First Time;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office programmes;
- Good customer service skills.
The following qualities and experience are desirable:
- Experience of working in office/digital environment;
- Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise and multitask.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
