    Join our Regional Civils team as a Senior Buyer on the T2100 Framework Project and you'll be part of it

    This is a part time role, 3 days a week.

    What you'll be doing

    Key Accountabilities;A
  • Main POC for the T2100 framework, to provide support, resolve queries
  • Strengthen and develop a robust supply chain
  • Ensuring internal spend compliance
  • Sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations
  • Conducting tender processes
  • Commodity research and spend analysis
  • Supplier meetings and engagement
  • Attending Project Meetings and providing procurement updates
  • Creation of Supply Chain Strategies and obtaining approval
  • Management of Procurement Schedules
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Identifying key trends or opportunities for cost reduction
  • Negotiating discounts and savings
  • Supplier performance management
  • Subcontract supply chain, materials procurement & category management
  • Ensuring accurate reporting of savings and value add activities
  • Ensuring adherence to procurement processes and procedures

    • Who we're looking for

    You will have the following:

  • Knowledge of procurement ERP and e-tendering systems (e.g. Oracle, Jaggaer or similar)
  • Working knowledge of subcontract procurement process
  • Supply Chain Management experience
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills
  • Awareness of commercial contracts
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Construction knowledge desirable
