More about your role

As Senior Buyer for Places Development you will be managing our buying process across the Northern part of our region (Home Counties) You will input to the SE Board on Material/Plant trends/issues and problem areas as well as managing the tender process and selection of materials for new developments.

You will collate tenders to create material schedules for house types and will organise material take offs as required as well as negotiating prices and deals with local suppliers.

You will work closely with our group procurement team and will operate within national agreements.

You will have the ability to build and establish good relationships with our suppliers and will be able to make an impact on buying decisions on regional performance.

Knowledge of local and national suppliers is a must have.
