    Description

    Full Time / Part Time**The applicant will be a qualified ANP, however, there is an opportunity for appropriately experienced nurses to join the team as a trainee, and applications will be considered from those with relevant experience and a desire to undertake the ANP training.

    Support the SACT nursing team to deliver treatments on the day units, by providing clinical expertise and support.


    Be responsible for assessingfitness for treatment and formulating management plans for patients - and alsowork as part of the non-medical prescribing team in the oral SACT clinics.


    Play an integral role in the strategic development of SACT services, including supporting the expansion of the non-medical prescribing clinics and oncology triage services.


    Work in partnership with nursing and medical staff, have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills in all aspects of oncology care.

    Reading sits on the river Thames and is served by great road and rail links to London, Oxford and Southampton.

    Registered with professional regulatory body (NMC) as an Independent Prescriber

    Significant experience and expertise within oncology and SACT at band 7
    Experience of writing for publication and or conference presentations
