    Description


    This is a key role in which you will oversee various aspects of compliance, with a key emphasis on adherence to legislative and regulatory changes as well as promoting professional standards.

    Ideally coming from a broad compliance role within regulatory/professional services, the successful candidate will be articulate and possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

    The ability to manage a multifaceted workload is essential, as is the ability to influence change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    A key facet will be a keenness to learn and keep up-to-date on both industry standards and relevant law, whilst maintaining effective controls and reporting procedures.

    You will have an analytical approach to your work and be forward thinking.

    ResponsibilitiesEnsuring effective firmwide compliance with regulatory, legislative and professional ISO standards, including best practice, and identifying appropriate areas for improvement.

    Supporting the firm's aims through effective engagement with our COLP, COFA and other internal/external stakeholders, whilst leading our internal Compliance team.

    Providing advice on the Solicitors Code of Conduct, anti-money laundering, GDPR and other areas of due diligence.
    Assisting with training delivery in the area of risk management.
    QualificationsA relevant compliance accreditation would be desirable.
