- To identify and safely fault find issues on a range of electrical and data cables including single and three phase cabling, DMX and Ethercon.
- Undertaking electrical and mechanical repairs on a variety of cabling in a safe and professional manner.
- Termination of cut down cables to reinstate into rental stock.
- Wiring, soldering, cable stripping, assembly and termination of a range of connections both for power cables and data cables.
- To research parts and equipment required to effect repairs on cabling you have assessed.
- Broad testing of completed repairs (including PAT) before managing the return to stock.
- Work with the Repairs Inventory Technician to ensure stock repair supplies are maintained at appropriate levels.
- Prior cable/electrical repairs experience including 3 phase
- Must be IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
