    Description

    The key purpose of this role is to deliver innovative civil/structural engineering designs on all the projects you are responsible for.

    Degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
    Knowledge of design analysis software
    A high level of computer literacy with experience of relevant up-to-date engineering design software.
    Strong health and safety management experience including management and maintenance of CDM Risk Registers
    An adaptable and flexible working style with the ability to develop and foster collaborative working relationships
    Experience of monitoring compliance with design, statutory professional requirements
    Ability to represent the company on site visits/surveys (sometimes in unsociable hours) in a professional manner.
    A Masters level degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
    Graduate Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE)
    Experience of effective financial management and control of projects

    Having a current clean UK driving license for travel throughout the UK to visit sites and carry out inspections from time to time would be an advantage.

    We are a small but rapidly expanding consultancy looking to hire an exceptional Engineer who can add their skills to the team but who is also looking to develop their career as the business grows.

    We currently have contracts with a significant number of Tier One/Principal Contractors and are constantly looking to grow our portfolio.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver innovative, sustainable, efficient, safe, practical and intelligent engineering solutions on all our projects

    In addition to the design work, there will be the opportunity to participate in marketing activities and pitches to help grow the business.
