London:

We are excited to be recruiting for a People Business Partner to work with us in our Leisure Division.

This role provides a hybrid working pattern where you can be based at both of our lovely head offices in London & Reading, remotely and in our sites.

We operate one the largest portfolios of Leisure Venues, Tourist Attractions and Stadia.

Each of our locations has its own unique personality which we celebrate as we continually look to improve our client's financial position, whether that's through the food we serve, the events we run or the sales we deliver.

We understand the role great food and people can play in a successful event


Working closely with the CH&CO People and Development Team, you will take a leading role in the development and implementation of people strategies across some of the UK most prestigious Destinations, Venues and Stadiums.

Ensuring that proactive people management and development are always at the forefront of what we do, enabling the business to meet its goals and objectives.


Key responsibilities

  • Be an advocate for CH&CO and always role model our vision and values. Challenge any behaviours which do not promote our culture
  • Be inquisitive in your approach, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to improving the people management and development processes and initiatives, to support business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual People Plan for Venues & Destinations, and partner with the business directors and key stakeholders to drive the implementation of the plan including, but not limited to the following:


  • Organisational design

  • partner with the business on organisation design and re-design activity, to improve business performance and execute all subsequent actions.
  • Resourcing design effective recruitment and retention strategies, specific to the needs of the business.
  • Talent management and succession planning including executive and leadership development, performance management, succession planning and career development.
  • Performance management proactively manage the implementation of our performance management strategies to underpin the aims of the talent pipeline. Contribute to the annual remuneration review as required.
  • Culture coach, mentor and challenge key stakeholders to embed a culture of team effectiveness, promotion of our Ideals and fair and consistent people management.
  • Champion completion of our employee engagement surveys and partner with key business stakeholders to develop and implement associated action plans based on the results.
  • Learning plans ensure annual learning and development plans are in place that support the business objectives, talent and succession plans and personal development plans.
  • Delivery of Group projects
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Extensive and sound knowledge of employment law and experience of dealing with complex case workload in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience of project managing or guiding on large scale change programmes including TUPE transf
