    Our client is a leading, innovative and an international law firm who are looking for a Trainee Development Assistant to join their growing team in their London office on a permanent basis.

    The main responsibilities for the Trainee Development Assistant is to work alongside the Partners to support the future Trainees through their academic qualifications, placements, secondments and qualification processes. Reporting to the Advisor and Manager who oversee the trainee population.

    KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:

    • Helping in preparing trainee induction materials and communicating starting details to future trainees.
    • Organising the registration of Training Contracts.
    • Working with HR Systems team to ensure the trainee's records are accurate and correct throughout their training contract.
    • Booking and supporting qualification meetings, preparing forms, qualification packs, spreadsheets and other similar information.
    • Assisting with employee relations cases including but not exclusive to, health and well-being, absence and performance management.
    • Ensuring trainee reviews are completed, raising any ad hoc group trainee issues and providing any relevant future qualifiers information when requested.
    • Assisting with the administration for international secondments to best friend firms and coordinate the quarterly secondment process

    The Trainee Development Assistant will ideally have experience working in HR or within a professional services environment. It is essential to have experience of working in a diverse team whilst fostering an inclusive team culture. While demonstrating core knowledge of HR/ SRA requirements and be able to consistently produce high quality work autonomously. The Trainee Development Assistant will have a strong attention to detail, be able to plan and prioritise their own workload using initiative and suggest improvements within own work area. The right candidate will draw on strong working relationships, actively look for positives in change and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
